INTRODUCTION

The winding lanes with Georgian and colonial style houses create an atmosphere of an old English village.

SUMMARY

Homes have quaint mullioned windowpanes. Municipal, commercial and community buildings are in Tudor or English Gothic design, with timbered rafters within. But the charm of Mariemont is more than a matter of architecture. There is great community pride in this complete little world of cultural and social activities including its school system. A variety of housing is offered, including single and two-family homes. Townhouses and apartments also have an old-fashioned English flavor. To people who value tradition, Mariemont is a dream come true. The village was carefully planned to include shopping, banking, and all the other essentials of life… right in the center of town.

TRANSPORTATION

Mariemont has several bus lines to downtown Cincinnati. A rush hour bus makes it in 20 minutes as does a Milford express bus. A third takes a little longer through several Cincinnati suburbs, affording transfers to other parts of town. Driving time to downtown Cincinnati is 20 minutes.
